Description: Sergeant Stuckey was accidentally shot while responding to an illegal night hunting complaint. Sergeant Stuckey attempted to retrieve his shotgun from the backseat of his patrol car to pursue the suspect on foot. As Sergeant Stuckey removed the shotgun from the car the gun discharged, striking Sergeant Stuckey in the chest. Sergeant Stuckey was found dead several hours later next to his patrol vehicle.
