Description: Sergeant Stevens stopped a motorist for outstanding warrants. The driver of the vehicle was searched and drugs were found. When Sergeant Stevens attempted to arrest the suspect, he was physically assaulted. Sergeant Stevens suffered a fatal heart attack during the assault and collapsed. Sergeant Stevens was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
