Description: Patrolman Scholz and Officer Cook responded to a citizen complaint over a boiler malfunction. The boiler exploded and injured four citizens. Officer Scholz and a taxi cab driver were killed. Officer Scholz was admitted to the hospital in critical condition and died from his injuries the next day. Officer Cook was injured in this accident.
