Description: Patrolman Sanders was shot in a train yard while attempting to arrest a suspect who had been involved in a domestic dispute. When Patrolman Sanders and an informant entered a train car and identified the suspect, the man opened fire and shot Patrolman Sanders four times in the chest. Patrolman Sanders died at the scene. The suspect was not captured.
