Description: Deputy Sheriff Stiles died of injuries sustained in a car crash four days earlier. Deputy Stiles was traveling southbound on LA Highway 67 when a truck swerved to avoid hitting another vehicle and struck his patrol car. Deputy Stiles succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The driver of the truck which struck him died at the scene of the accident.
