Description: Chief Scott Sumner and Reserve Officer Matthew Tuttle were killed in a helicopter accident while providing aerial support for officers who were involved in a foot pursuit. Chief Sumner and Officer Tuttle responded to location after officer requested their assistance in tracking a suspect who fled after a traffic stop. Both Reserve Officer Tuttle and Chief Sumner were killed instantly when their department helicopter dropped from the sky and crashed into an intersection.
