Description: Constable Sheppard was shot and killed as he and Sergeant Francis attempted to stop a speeding motorist. The vehicle was confiscated during a prohibition investigation and later stolen from the county garage. Constable Sheppard was fatally shot and Sergeant Francis was wounded while attempting to arrest the two suspects.
