Description: Officer Shelton was chasing after two would-be robbers and managed to capture one as the other escaped. While walking the suspect to the Police Department, Officer Shelton was shot and died soon after in the hospital. The robber he had been escorting plead guilty to murder and was sentenced to life imprisonment.
