Description: On November 18, 1977, Police Officer Scott was shot when he encountered a nude man walking on Clayton Road. Officer Scott confronted the man, who was under the influence of PCP, and a struggle ensued. The suspect shot Officer Scott. Officer Scott underwent several surgeries but never fully recovered from his injuries. Officer Scott died as a result of complications of these injuries on November 23, 1983.
