Description: Police Officer Sheffield was shot and killed while manning a metal detector at the McNamara Federal Building in Detroit, Michigan. The suspect, who had been waiting in line to go through the security area, pulled out a .357 caliber handgun from his backpack and shot Officer Sheffield in the chest.
