Description: Deputy Sheriff Sutton was killed in an automobile accident while responding to a domestic disturbance call involving weapons. Deputy Sutton was en route to the call in the evening hours, following other department vehicles that also did not have emergency lights activated, when he performed evasive maneuvers to avoid an oncoming car on a sharp curve. Deputy Sutton lost control of his patrol vehicle, which left the road, went down a steep embankment and struck a tree. Deputy Sutton died at the scene of the accident.
