Description: Sergeant Shepherd was injured in a motorcycle crash while on patrol when his motorcycle struck the flangeway of the trolley track which caused him to lose control and strike a pole. Sergeant Shepherd was transported to the hospital with a fractured skull and other injuries and died the next day.
