Description: Captain Scott led four men, including Lighthorseman Joe Barnett, in the capture and detention of a notorious gangster near Wetumka, Oklahoma. Members of the gang attacked the officers and freed the prisoner. Captain Scott was restrained and riddled with bullets. Lighthorseman Barnett was killed when he tried to go to the aid of Captain Scott.
