Description: Police Officer II Sanchez was killed in an automobile crash while on patrol. Officer Sanchez and his partner were on patrol in the Harbor City section of Los Angeles when they attempted to pursue a speeding vehicle. Another suspect vehicle entered into the pursuit and intentionally struck the patrol unit. Officer Sanchez and his partner were transported to a local hospital where he died of his injuries. His partner survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
