Description: Officer LaBoy was shot and killed while investigating a shots fired call in the Puerto Nuevo section of San Juan. Officer LaBoy and two other uniformed officers responded to the gunshots coming from a local mini-market. While exiting their patrol unit, two armed suspects opened fire on them. Officer LaBoy was shot in the face, and transported to a local hospital where he died later that day.
