Description: On June 28, 1915, Night Marshal Schram was on foot patrol when he was ambushed, struck over the head by an unknown assailant and then fell down a flight of stairs. Marshal Schram suffered a fractured skull and a broken left shoulder and was found unconscious. Marshal Schram was transported to his residence where he received medical care until his death two weeks later on July 13th.
