Description: Deputy Sheriff Scott and Fort Payne Chief of Police Beldon Little were fatally shot as they attempted to arrest a family of moonshiners. Sheriff Andy Chitwood was also wounded in an exchange of gunfire with the fleeing suspects. Three suspects were captured by a posse and charged with murder.
