Description: On December 19, 2011, Police Officer Schneider was shot after responding to a domestic disturbance call involving a suspect who was threatening his girlfriend. Officer Schneider had just escorted the woman from the residence when he was shot by the suspect. The suspect committed suicide. Officer Schneider remained in the hospital until his death two weeks later on December 30, 2011.
