Description: Police Officer Sherrard was shot and killed while responding to a disturbance call at an apartment complex. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound and located the apartment where the suspect was located. As officers made entry into the apartment, the suspect opened fire and fatally shot Officer Sherrard.
