Description: On August 4, 2018, Officer Shukur was struck by a hit and run driver when he assisted other officers with crowd control outside of a club. Officer Shukur was walking to his patrol vehicle when he was struck from behind. Officer Shukur was transported to the hospital where he remained until he succumbed to his injuries on August 15, 2018.
