Description: Police Officer Smith died of a gunshot wound sustained two days earlier when he was attempting to serve an arrest warrant as part of the SWAT Team. Officer Smith was inside the turret of an armored vehicle when the suspect opened fire from within his apartment. Officer Smith was shot and was transported to the hospital. Officer Smith remained on life support and died two days later. The suspect was arrested.
