Description: Police Officer Snoddy was shot as he attempted to arrest a suspect on a charge of violating the prohibition law. Officer Snoddy, armed with a warrant, climbed the ladder to the loft where the suspect was hiding. Officer Snoddy was shot in the jugular as he entered the loft and died at the scene. The suspect was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to 10 to 20 years in prison.
