Description: Deputy Sorensen was shot and killed after he discovered a methamphetamine lab at a local residence near Highway 138. Deputy Sorensen had originally responded to a trespassing call. When back-up arrived, Deputy Sorensen could not be located. After searching for an hour, deputies discovered Deputy Sorensen's body. He had been shot several times after an apparent struggle. Deputies also found chemicals consistent with the manufacture of methamphetamine.
