Description: Deputy Constable Strunk was shot as he attempted to arrest two burglary suspects. Deputy Constable Strunk was shot in the chest and died at the scene. His assailant was convicted of murder and executed by hanging. The second suspect was convicted of burglary and sentenced to 10 years in prison.
