Description: Deputy Sheriffs Sutton and Allen Scribner were both fatally shot as they escorted a murder suspect to jail. The suspect was handcuffed to the deputy and his other hand was free. The suspect drew a revolver and shot Deputy Sutton in the head and Deputy Scribner in the torso. The suspect fled the scene and was not apprehended.
