Description: Lieutenant Singleton died of a fatal heart attack while participating in physical training with the department's Special Operations Unit. Lieutenant Singleton ran one half of the required 1.5 miles when he collapsed. CPR was performed at the scene and he was rushed to the hospital but all attempts to save him failed.
