Description: Officer Steiner was shot and killed while standing in front of the Pomona Courthouse. Officer Steiner had just testified in a traffic case and was outside the courthouse when a juvenile suspect shot him three times and sped away. Officer Steiner received fatal gunshot wounds to his head and chest. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries
