Description: Agent Victor Soto-Velez was shot and killed from ambush while en route to his residence. Agent Soto-Velez had completed his shift at the department and was in his personal vehicle when occupants of another vehicle intercepted him and opened fire. Agent Soto-Velez was specifically targeted due to his work as a narcotics agent. The suspect who ordered the killing of Agent Soto-Velez was later apprehended by law enforcement officers.
