Description: Sheriff Salzsiedler suffered a fatal heart attack as he attempted to extricate an injured man from a wrecked automobile. Sheriff Salzsiedler responded to a call regarding two speeding motorists on Hwy 83. Sheriff Salzsiedler arrived at the scene to find that both vehicles had plunged off of the embankment and into the creek. As Sheriff Salzsiedler attempted to remove the man from the vehicle, he collapsed and died at the scene.
