Description: Deputy Stroman and Deputy R.D. Dart were dispatched to eject two drunken and disorderly men from a local hotel. One of the men grabbed Deputy Dart's revolver and shot and killed Deputy Stroman. The killer had earlier boasted, "If any of those deputies try to bother me, I'll take his gun and make him eat it."
