Description: Deputy Constable Sebesta was stabbed to death when he attempted to arrest a man at a beer hall who was wielding a pistol. Deputy Sebesta struggled with the suspect, who resisted arrest, and was stabbed in the chest and abdomen. Deputy Sebesta died at the scene. Deputy Robert Vajdak was also stabbed but survived. The suspect was convicted of murder and sentenced to 99 years in prison.
