Description: Officer Schultz and Officer Mills were on routine foot patrol when Officer Shultz's revolver fell from his overcoat pocket. The pistol fell on the hammer and exploded, striking Officer Schultz in the hip. He was taken to the local doctor who could not find the bullet which moved throughout his body. Officer Schultz remained hospitalized for approximately two weeks before succumbing to his injury.
