Description: Deputy Sheriff Stanley was lured out of his home by two men who told him his fence was down. The two men fired eight bullets into the Deputy, killing him instantly. Investigations indicate that Deputy Sheriff Stanley was ambushed and killed because of his pursuits and recent arrest of horse thieves and train robbers.
