Description: Police Officer Sprague was struck and killed by a vehicle while responding to a disturbance call. Officer Sprague responded to a call of a large group of people fighting in a parking lot. As he exited his patrol car to approach the group, an SUV struck him. Officer Sprague was taken to a nearby hospital where he died of his injuries the next day. The driver fled the scene but was later apprehended.
