Description: Deputy Sheriff Sadler was shot by a suspect he had attempted to arrest for drunk and disorderly conduct at a tavern. The suspect escaped, retrieved a shotgun and went back to the tavern. As Deputy Sadler approached the suspect, the man shot the deputy in the abdomen. Deputy Sadler died shortly after. The suspect fled the scene.
