Description: Corrections Officer Tedder died after an altercation with an inmate at the Christina Melton Crain Unit in Gatesville, Texas. Officer Tedder complained of shortness of breath after an incident with an inmate which required use of force. While walking to an area to rest, she collapsed. Officer Tedder was pronounced dead at the scene.
