Description: Patrolman Tekulve was shot as he attempted to arrest a man who was brandishing a gun throughout the neighborhood. Patrolman Tekulve was transported to the hospital where he died of his injuries 10 days later. His assailant was convicted of murder and sentenced to death by electrocution.
