Description: Marshal Todd pursued a motorist for reckless driving. The motorist refused to stop until he arrived home. As Marshal Todd attempted to arrest the driver, he was shot once in the stomach and died at the scene. The driver and passenger were found guilty of murder. The driver was given a life sentence and the passenger received three years in prison.
