Description: Sergeant Tullos and Officer Hollingsworth were transporting two prisoners to Parchman, Mississippi. One of the prisoners overpowered Officer Hollingsworth, who was driving the car, and took his gun. Sergeant Tullos was shot and killed by the two prisoners. His body was thrown from the car. Officer Hillingsworth was handcuffed to a tree. The prisoners stole the department vehicle and fled the scene.
