Description: Agent Thrasher was killed in an aircraft accident while assisting Border Patrol Agents search for a suspected smuggler who had fled on foot after a vehicle stop. While communicating with ground units and attempting to maintain visual contact with the suspect, the Cessna 182 crashed on a ranch in northern Hidalgo County, Texas. The Cessna 182 burst into flames, killing Agent Thrasher instantly.
