Description: Officer Talbot was off-duty and socializing in the parking lot of a local high school with other members of the department's anti-gang unit. The officers were confronted by a group of aggressive and armed teen-aged males. An argument ensued and shots were fired between the police officers and the young men. Officer Talbot was shot in the head by one of the suspects. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
