Description: Staff Sergeant Tindle was ambushed and killed on his front porch. Sergeant Tindle was involved in a narcotics investigation. A military police officer went to Sergeant Tindle's house to warn him of an anonymous call stating that his life was in danger. The officer arrived to find Sergeant Tindle's lifeless body. A suspect was arrested and sent to trial but not convicted due to lack of evidence. Forty years later the suspect admitted that he had killed Sergeant Tindle before dying of a drug overdose.
