Description: Deputy Taylor was shot to death when he and Deputy John Wear went to deliver a message to a lady whose aunt was sick. The lady's husband, who had just been released from the mental hospital, stepped out from the side of the house and fatally shot Deputy Taylor. The man thought that Deputy Taylor was there to arrest him.
