Description: Constable Taldone was struck and killed while directing traffic after a local fireworks show. Constable Taldone instructed a driver to stop at the intersection, but the driver ignored Constable Taldone's instructions and entered the intersection. The driver struck Constable Taldone, throwing him several feet in the air. He was transported to a local hospital with severe internal injuries where he succumbed to his injuries two days later.
