Description: County Officer Tucker and Chief of Police Floyd Malone were ambushed and shot multiple times by moonshiners. Chief Malone and Deputy Tucker were investigating a possible moonshine still near Charles Mill and were lured to the location by the moonshiners themselves by a false tip. A suspect was convicted of both murders and sentenced to life in prison.
