Description: Patrolman Thorne suffered a fatal heart attack shortly after completing a required physical agility test. Patrolman Thorne was sworn in six days prior to the test and had been a K-9 deputy with the Choctow (AL) Sheriff's Office for more than ten years. He was transported to a local hospital where he died a few hours after arrival.
