Description: Officer Taylor and Lieutenant Robert Cormier were attempting to land the department helicopter during the 1984 Republican Convention. While attempting to land during cloudy and rainy conditions; the helicopter's rotors of the helicopter hit a tower and crashed. Officer Taylor and Lieutenant Cormier were both killed in this incident.
