Description: Police Officer Travis was shot when he approached a group of men who were causing a public disturbance. Officer Travis placed one suspect under arrest and started to lead him away. The subject grabbed TravisŸ??s pistol and fired two shots, wounding Officer Travis with his own gun. Officer Travis was transported to the hospital where he died the following day. The suspect was later captured and convicted of murder.
