Description: Sheriff Turner, accompanied by Deputies Leonard Craig and William Utley, were shot as they approached an illegal liquor still. Deputies Craig and Utley survived their injuries. Sheriff Turner, who was shot in the head, died of his injuries a week later. Two suspects were arrested.
