Description: Investigator Tucker was shot and killed while checking on a suspicious vehicle near the intersection of Holly Spring and Winding Oak Road. Investigator Tucker had been shot fatally in the face with a shotgun and his body was found lying next to his unmarked Crown Victoria. An 18 year old suspect who panicked when the unmarked cruiser pulled behind him, later confessed to shooting Investigator Tucker. The suspect was found guilty of murder.
